Ron Taylor Sunrise Concert reviews
25 Years I Waited...
I highly recommend Bob Weir & The Wolf Brothers. The last time I saw Bob Weir (and Jay Lane) was in August 1995 in Boulder CO. Live is always better and as usual, you make new friends with those seated around you. Very comfortable. There were folks from near (Raleigh NC) and far (Hampton Beach NH). It is Bob Weir singing familiar Grateful Dead and Bobby solo tunes, but the arrangements are a little different. Don Was is a master and plenty of improv jamming. I waited 25 years to see Bob Weir again and it felt like coming home. Overall, it was much better than I expected. My personal favorites: First set was the upbeat 'Easy To Slip' and the second set opener and Bobby standard, 'Mamma Tried'. I had listened to many Wolf Brothers shows, but nothing beats going to a Bob Weir concert. I would rate it 10 stars, but there are only five available.
